The camp will be conducted by Pujya Swami Shantanandaji, Acharya, CM NJ A direct disciple of Swami Chinmayananda, Swami Shantananda’s discourses are renowned for insights, humor and connections to daily life. Swamiji will explain the Dakshinamoorti Stotram of Sri Adi Shankaracharya. It is filled with profound wisdom and beauty which reveals the essence of Vedanta. Here the teacher Lord Shiva guides the advanced rishis, the students, after their vedantic studies for deeper Meditation. Swamiji will be assisted by Brni. Bhamati Chaitanya, Acharya, CM Boston. Venue: Chinmaya Maruti, 1 Union Street, Andover, MA 01810 Program Timing: Thursday June 21, Inauguration at 6.30 pm. Talk by Swamiji for adults and cultural movie for children from 7 – 8 pm. No class for children, but they can watch the video. Friday, Saturday, Sunday adults schedule is from 6 to 9 am, schedule for children starts at 7.30 am. Children will have planned quiet time activity from 6 to 7.30, prayers and Yoga 7.30 to 8.30 and will join parents for breakfast. Camp ends after lunch on Sunday.
Four day retreat activities for various age groups include: Swamiji’s Talks, Meditation, Q&A, workshops, and Yoga for Adults. Theme stories from Scriptures, Chanting, craft, skits and fun activities for children. Insightful class discussions, fun activities and sports for youth. A Guru Paduka Pooja on Saturday and evening cultural programs for entire family.
